Dr. Karla Conn Welch began as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Louisville in Jan. 2010. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Vanderbilt University. Her research interests include machine learning, adaptive response technologies, pattern recognition, physiological signal processing, robotics, and human-computer/human-robot interaction.
